Great recipe- turned out perfectly, super fun to decorate… AND I don’t bake so that says A LOT!
Quick question:
Is the chopped rosemary for decorating the top or are you supposed to mix it in the dough?

I’ve been wondering why you use all purpose flour in your red velvet cake recipe over cake flour and what the difference would be if you switched out the flour? I made that recipe and didn’t really like the texture very much. I’m actually planning on making your doctored red velvet cake recipe but was also considering remaking your authentic red velvet cake recipe and just switching out the flour to see if that would make a difference. I’ve been thinking about this for a while so hopefully you can help a geek like me understand! lol thank you for another great post.

I LOVE this frosting. It is SO GOOD, not too sweet, and easy to work with, held its shape with piping. I did have a lot left over, though, I frosted a 2-layer cake, and had 2 cups left over. I freaked out when I saw the amount of butter in the recipe, but it's delicious, and so creamy and shiny. A winner for sure!

I've been looking for a back bone muffin recipe and this hit the mark. Very light muffins, easy to make. On faith I filled the muffin tins (no paper) to the top and sure enough I got a perfect muffin. I used fresh blue berries and subbed out 3 oz of the sugar measure for 3 oz of Country Time mix. Halfed the vanilla subbed lemon extract other half. Also added 1 tsp lemon rind, light lemony flavor to these muffins.
I used close to 2 cups small/med fresh blue berries that I tossed in powdered sugar, dusted off then folded into the batter. Batter so light/fluffy it's like Redi Whip! I can't wait to try more combo's 😀
