Carrot cake isn’t a cake I make often...actually ever! but some friends asked me to make one for their sons first birthday. This recipe is sooooo good! I smothered in your easy buttercream - replacing some of the butter with burnt butter because it was to go under fondant. The whole cake disappeared at lightning speed! Soooo delicious!! Thank you 😊

I’ve made this cake multiple times! Seems like a fam favorite. 🙂 I am traveling next week and my grandfather wants me to bring this carrot cake. Do you think I should freeze this cake before my 5 hour drive? (Haaaalppp lol)

In reply to traci c. You can use the cake batter calculator directly above the recipe to calculate how much batter you need by selecting the pans you want to bake with. Then adjust the recipe servings on the recipe card by using the slider to match what the calculator says to make.
